I did not do well for English and the other subjects this year. I knew it was a very difficult year, but i still couldn't settle my heart to work hard for the subjects. My mind is all about DRAMA, DRAMA and DRAMA, not even a size of a dirt of studying in my mind. i tried, i did tried to study, but nothing went in, even if it did went in, i couldn't express them well when comes to exam or tests. However, it is all because of the distractions from my surroundings. After meeting the Vice Principal, i saw my parents disappointed faces, i just couldn't;t help by blaming myself, why didn't i study hard, why must drama be so nice, so attractive. i so hope that studies, English can be even more attractive than drama. Today, I Ng Shu Ling would just stop watching drama till the O level is over. (Lord, please help me overcome this, Amen)

Day 10 – Picture Discussion
This picture depicts a scene at an old folks’ home. Perhaps the man in the middle is a volunteer; he is trying to teach the elderly some actions or may be letting them move around to let them relax. He may have gone for trainings that will teach him to understand the needs of the elderly and that what actions are suitable to teach the elderly. I think the eldery is enjoying their time with the man as their faces are full or joy and happiness. Hence, I think the man did a great job, making the elderly to feel wanted and not abandoned.

I agree that people are always thinking too much, even for me, I am always worried about my studies, grades, cca and other activities. I deal with all my worries by slowly improve in everything and I would not choose to forget them as they are important to my life and my future. People could choose to deal with it slowly or they could approach their family or friends to help them cope all their worries or just talk to them about their worries. Therefore, I think worries can be solved so I do think people should worry so much about it when they do nothing about it, however they should let it go when they are dealing with their worries.

Day 8 – Picture Discussion
This picture depicts a scene at a nursery where a mother is playing with a group of young children. They seemed to enjoy the game as all their faces are beaming. The mother seemed to be in formal attire; perhaps she came from work and is trying to interact with the young children by playing some games with them. In the end of the game, the children will know that their parents are working very hard to try to communicate with them and to know more about their parents. Hence, it is good for parents to play game and interact with their children when they are free, so that their children will know more about them.

Q1. I think I am good at management and confidence; I am willing to try new ideas and willing to hear others’ opinions. I am able to lead others in projects and able to work well with others. I think running a business is difficult as I have to find helpers and customers. I would need to have the capital to start the business and the knowledge of the business. Therefore, running business is difficult.

Day 6 – Picture Discussion

This picture depicts a scene at a stadium; there are a group of girls in their school uniform. They are jumping and shouting, perhaps they are cheering for their friends or school. I think these girls are excited and happy, as they are smiling and cheering, may be, their school are leading that is why are happy. In conclusion, these girls are enjoying their time by cheering and supporting their school.

Q2. I think every one can be good at sport as long as they are willing to put in effort to train up their skills and approach people which are skillful to teach them. There are people who are better than others, because they had sacrifice their time to train and willing to change after they have been pin point by their teachers. It is true that most men are better than women in terms of sports, because of their physical builds; however, this is only for general perspective. In fact, there are women who are excellent in sports and are better than men too. Hence, I do not agree that men are better than women in sports.

Day 4 – Picture Discussion

This picture depicts a scene where people are helping a man in wheelchair, there are two men helping the man in wheelchair by pushing his wheelchair up the ramp and pulling the handle of the wheelchair. Perhaps the people around, are thinking that they do not need to help the man in wheelchair as there were already two strong men helping him, thus they are just watching at the side. In my opinion, I do think these people should have this mindset; it is a good thing to help others especially those who are in need of your help. Perhaps, after they got onto the vehicles, they will be going to place who the wheelchair people cannot go that often due to inconvenience. In conclusion, since those people are volunteers to bring the disables out, they should be more willing to help and not stand at the side to watch and wait for them to ask for help.

Q2. I think that by protecting natural habitats is for our future generation, as if all the plants and animals are extinct, our future generation would not be able to see these creatures on earth, they could only see all these creatures in the gallery or maybe in books. We are destroying natures at a very fast rate as every country is trying to develop into modern industrial area to get more tourists and business for their country. I do not think that it is important to develop cities and destroy nature. Even though cities can bring the country to a higher level, however, the lost of nature will affect not only the future generations, but the atmosphere, as it will cause an increase of greenhouse gases, hence, the world will experience global warming which is even worse then now. Therefore, nature is much more important as compared to the developing for countries.

Day 2 – Picture Discussion

This picture depicts a scene at a house or a salon, where a few women are practicing hair styling on their models. Perhaps they are learning how to cut and style hair so that they will be able to get a job as a hairdresser. In my opinion, the women are happy to be able to work together as their faces are all beaming in delight, perhaps they will be working partners after they have finish their lesson and have confident in their cut skills. In conclusion, these women in the picture are having a lesson on hair styling or cutting which they enjoy doing so.

Q2. Every time when I see a CCTV in public places, I would feel very insecure as I felt that I am being watched all the time, that feeling is horrible as I do not have my own private space. However, I do think it is necessary to have these devices as it is a record for what happen at that area which it is filming all day. For example, when there is a robbery case at that area, the CCTV will be able to record it down and will be able to help the police in investigation. Thus, it is important to have CCTV in public areas. I think these CCTV would make people feel less relaxed as they may feel that the camera is firming them, which not many like that feeling. Therefore, CCTV is important, however, it would make people feel uneasy.

Wk 16- The Two Brothers
Johnny had two sons, one is called Tommy who was a very quiet and sedentary boy. He always needed bulwark from his brother in school. He is always sitting in his cache and watches the other boys in the neighbour playing. His brother, Timmy and Tommy were antithesis. Tommy was gregarious and always active in all activities in school.
